They do work… but it was not an enjoyable experienceDoesn’t allow WhatsApp calls.
What about sending voice messages ?Doesn’t allow WhatsApp calls.
They do work, they just take a little bit longer to send. What about sending voice messages ?
I wouldn’t necessarily say RWG is sketchy, I’ve used them before for testing and the delivered what they promised and their customer service was good, even replying outside of ‘normal’ working hours. They're now offering it as yearly? That seems pretty good but RWG is a bit sketchy too, I would personally recommend that if customer service actually was good.

Like OMC said… How Bizarre. They’re terrible for customer services.
I cancelled a line with them which didn’t cancel off even though my account had been deleted and it took weeks and weeks for them to get back to me.
When you call their telephone number it rings and rings until you get a recorded message saying they’re unavailable. They don’t respond to web forms or emails.
My experience isn’t unique, trust pilot is littered with the same feedback.
I've managed to get my sim to work on "Sparkle" so i now have roaming to other UK network.I have a problem where google maps doesn't work, after speaking with Tech support they say i should use google maps logged out... that's not good at all!
Plus i seem to be only able to use 3UK for data, I think the idea is good, but the execution is poor.
I'm off to thailand next month, so I'll try it then, but right now... I think it needs more work.
I also think that more than £5 for this SIM would be a killer for me, would make me cancel immediately.

Also I have found Google maps works if you go into "incognito mode" .
So I'll try it in Thailand and around the UK and see how well it works.

I’ve still got one of their free sims (since they launched) and have never had a bad CS interaction with them. I’ve always had same day email replies, even on a Sunday.

I too still have 2 RWG sims from circa Nov 2021, one was the original free SIM with 50 mins or SMS & 250MB FREE every month & another SIM with similar package that was going for a £5 one-off payment.I’ve still got one of their free sims (since they launched) and have never had a bad CS interaction with them. Get the Firsty app and eSIM, don't even watch any ads for free data or buy anything. When there is no data time on the account, Google maps works on it at full speed!I have a problem where google maps doesn't work, after speaking with Tech support they say i should use google maps logged out... that's not good at all!

And it's been working okay since with the occasional blip due to the usual no chargeable call or data use in 90 days jazz almost all providers have but on contacting them, I will get a response back the same day and even on weekends too saying the SIM was in a restricted state but was immediately re-enabled for me.
Firsty has been good for me. I don't bother with the ads and slow data much but their daily rate for 500MB of data is generaly about £1 and can be bought for as many days as you need in one go. I think thats pretty reasonable for a decent amount of daily dataGet the Firsty app and eSIM, don't even watch any ads for free data or buy anything.
