How do I cancel this piece of sh*t

Is there anyway I could cancel without charges, I had a £29 contract they sent me a £50 bill citing phone calls during weekdays as I had free weekend. I upgraded to a £37 package they told me it would have free calls weekdays and weekends. The following month they sent me a £80 bill saying I was calling international numbers when I actually use calling cards.
Damn I hate these guys I just want to cancel the only thing I can find is I have never signed a contract with them. In their T&C's it says they will suspend within 30 days if they do not 'receive a signed copy of the contract document' I'm stretching here but they did not do this so they didn't adhere to their T&C's agreement thus breaking the agreement and it says in their T&C's if they 'break the T&C's of these agreements you're free to end these agreements' Is it possible for me to cancel?
Please save me from this POS I can't last until January

It is a grey area; probably best you ask at the CAB.

VM could say that by using the service you have agreed the the T&C's even though you have not signed and returned a physical document.

It is sadly the customers responsibility to make sure that they understand the package details and terms. It is usually the case that "free call" offers only apply to certain numbers, such as UK local/national fixed lines. Any unusual numbers, mobile or prefix systems could carry different charges, you always have to check the price list for specific numbers to find out. Same with every provider.

In terms of the "signed" contract clause, this is a grey area but in the online world you are generally viewed to have "digitally" accepted the contract by completing the signup process. It would be difficult for eCommerce to work online without that. I fear that, unless Virgin have actually made a mistake with their charges, then the only way out would be to pay a hefty cancellation fee (often based off the price from your remaining months of service).
