How does migration work?

I am currently migrating away from Freedom2Surf to BT Yahoo! My migration date is today. I am a little confused as to what happens next? Do Freedom2Surf automatically know that I have successfully migrated and will my online members area update to tell me that my account has been cancelled, or will I need to call them?

When do I change over my connection details in my router, BT says I will be migrated today between 8am-8pm?

Any advice much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

John.

Sometime between 8am and 7:30pm you'll get disconnected and wont be able to reconnect. At this time try connecting using your new BT logon details and away you go. There maybe a few mins downtime. I moved from Plusnet to Eclipse today and was without an internet connection for a few mins (about 5). Everything is cool now.

Thanks for that! Does anyone know what happens with F2S in terms of payment, the next one is due on 10th Feb for the period of 10th feb to 9th of march. My understanding of there terms is that you should aim to migrate before the 10th in order to avoid paying for another unused month? Could anyone clarify this for me?

Thanks.

Regards,

John.

If your paying by direct debit i would cancel it just to be on the safe side. If not phone em up and confirm with them that it has been canceled.
