How long till ADSL activated?

I was wondering if I could get a little advice here :) How long would it take to get going on NDO, with a microfilter/modem etc... installed alread, but on a new BT line?

Any help would be great

You would be required, as with any new request, to place an order. As I assume, you would have to state that you require no equipment from them. This in effect, would not speed the process, as BT still need to 'process' the request and the relevant checks.

I started on NDO about 1 month ago.

I ordered my ADSL on a Wednesday, and recieved confirmation that my account was active and usable the following Wednesday - like you I had no need for the modem or filters as I already owned my own.

I don't believe the fact that you are on a new line should make any difference - mine was effectively a new line as I had just moved house.

I hope this helps

NDO aim for 5-7 working days but it's not uncommon to be on a few days before the date you are given

check out www.ndousers.com - lots of happy and early activated punters o there

Ain't it a blessing that any of TW's services can be up/down graded in 1call and instantly? :)

Funny you should say that, as soon as I got my phone line activated I went on the net and had an e-mail from Steve waiting!

Thanks for your help guys :)
