On my CPE Pro 2 on the Bridge Mode settings page it says "Online updates, virtual server, and firewall are unavailable in bridge mode".I have an unlocked CPE pro 2 in bridge mode. I've never received an update yet and still on 10.5.1. It's always had a three sim installed. I factory reset it the other week which took it out of bridge mode but still nothing.
Yes it won't update in bridge mode. I have left it out of bridge mode for a couple of hours and tried checking numerous times but it still says there is no updateOn my CPE Pro 2 on the Bridge Mode settings page it says "Online updates, virtual server, and firewall are unavailable in bridge mode".
Is bridge mode still disabled? If not, how long did you leave it off for?
Maybe leave it 24-48 hours. I recently had the 11.0.2.11 update come through one month after everyone else here received it so it could possibly be a staggered roll-out.Yes it won't update in bridge mode. Did anyone update to 11.0.2.11(H329SP3C233) and lose bridge mode?
I bought mine on Amazon when it first came out, it's unbranded too.I don't have bridge mode and I am not sure if I ever had it as I did not know about it. Is there a way to get it back? I have an unbranded one with Chinese writing on the box.
Changing the DNS on the pro 2 needs to done in the APN section (and you’ll need to unhide it)Hi all,
I recently bought this router from Amazon, it's branded Three.
Device information:
Software version 11.0.2.11(H329SP4C21)
Web UI version WEBUI 11.0.2.1(W2SP7C21)
Configuration file version H122-373-CUST 10.0.3.1(C21).
I've tried changing the DNS settings with Java script but they don't stick, is it possible to downgrade the firmware, or flash a non-branded firmware, to make this setting work?
Thank you @Osman for pointing me in the right direction, all sorted now.Changing the DNS on the pro 2 needs to done in the APN section (and you’ll need to unhide it)
Small consumer routers should be silent under load. If there's the sound of arcing and a faint smell of ionised air, it could be a fire risk.Thank you @Osman for pointing me in the right direction, all sorted now.
I noticed that my device does a click/tac noise every now and then. Does anyone else have it too, or is it just my unit?
No. That’s definitely not right.I noticed that my device does a click/tac noise every now and then. Does anyone else have it too, or is it just my unit?
Could be the Fan kicking in or switching off.I noticed that my device does a click/tac noise every now and then. Does anyone else have it too, or is it just my unit?
Possibly....but again something that audible wouldn't be right, even if it was a modulating fan control.Could be the Fan kicking in or switching off.
