Huawei H122-373 (CPE Pro 2) - Firmware Update Go / No-Go

I have an unlocked CPE pro 2 in bridge mode. I've never received an update yet and still on 10.5.1. It's always had a three sim installed. I factory reset it the other week which took it out of bridge mode but still nothing.
On my CPE Pro 2 on the Bridge Mode settings page it says "Online updates, virtual server, and firewall are unavailable in bridge mode".

Is bridge mode still disabled? If not, how long did you leave it off for?

Yes it won't update in bridge mode. I have left it out of bridge mode for a couple of hours and tried checking numerous times but it still says there is no update :(

Maybe leave it 24-48 hours. I recently had the 11.0.2.11 update come through one month after everyone else here received it so it could possibly be a staggered roll-out.

I've took the router out of bridge mode and turned on DMZ so I can still use it through my opnsense router. It's been like that for a few days but still no update for me 😔

Did anyone update to 11.0.2.11(H329SP3C233) and lose bridge mode?

Slightly different from yours pras1011, but thought I'd share it anyway, I got this update about 3 months ago while having a three sim in the router, but I do still have bridge mode.

Perhaps the router got confused and updated for another provider, who knows. 😊

I've had every sim under the sun in the poor thing. 😁

I don't have bridge mode and I am not sure if I ever had it as I did not know about it. Is there a way to get it back? I have an unbranded one with Chinese writing on the box.

I bought mine on Amazon when it first came out, it's unbranded too.
I've never seen any Huawei firmware available for download.
Not sure how you would go about your bridge mode problem. :(

Have you tried other provider sims in it to see if it changes the firmware at all?

I had EE and now have Three in there. Only just recently I have been thinking about bridge mode as I have to put my Asus XT12 mesh in AP mode and I notice that the Asus is missing a lot of features in AP mode. I might have to sell my cpe pro 2 and buy another that has bridge mode.

Hi all,
I recently bought this router from Amazon, it's branded Three.
Device information:
Software version 11.0.2.11(H329SP4C21)
Web UI version WEBUI 11.0.2.1(W2SP7C21)
Configuration file version H122-373-CUST 10.0.3.1(C21).
I've tried changing the DNS settings with Java script but they don't stick, is it possible to downgrade the firmware, or flash a non-branded firmware, to make this setting work?

Changing the DNS on the pro 2 needs to done in the APN section (and you’ll need to unhide it)

Thank you @Osman for pointing me in the right direction, all sorted now.

I noticed that my device does a click/tac noise every now and then. Does anyone else have it too, or is it just my unit?

Small consumer routers should be silent under load. If there's the sound of arcing and a faint smell of ionised air, it could be a fire risk.

Has anyone received update 11.0.2.20?

I see in Finland they received this update in May 2023 with the changelog: "new carrier aggregation frequency combinations that improve the operation of the device, especially in the area of the Finnish Network". Mentioned here and here.
