"Huawei Monitor" is now "LTE H-Monitor"

No, windows only.

Environment:
  • Requires a compatible router to operate (B525, B715, ...)
  • Works on Windows 10, Linux (Raspberry Pi, NAS Synology, with Mono), or directly on the router (on-board version)

Does the LTE H-Monitor software work with all 4G and 5G routers (ZTE and APPO and ZYXEL ...etc) or only work with HUAWEI router ???

Its probably worth giving it a go, it'll either connect or won't.

i want buy new APPO 5G Cpe omni or ZTE 5G Cpe . but i dont know if the LTE H-Monitor software work with APPO or ZTE or no . So I want to make sure whether it works or not .

LTE H-Monitor software work with huawei routers (i tested it before) but with another router (APPO or ZTE or ZYXEL ...etc) i dont know . so i am asking :-

Does the LTE H-Monitor software work with all 4G and 5G routers (ZTE and APPO and ZYXEL ...etc) or only work with HUAWEI router ???

Just wanted to say it's working with my Huawei 5G CPE which is fantastic as I can lock onto the quicker mast even with 5G

I agree, it's a great program and improves the functionality of the Huawei routers by a large margin. But, please correct me if I'm wrong, you can't actually lock to a specific mast - can you? You can only do so by changing the bands and therefore connecting to one mast rather than another.

Exactly and LTE H-Monitor can make sure that the router stays on same bands with the option here.

Definitely good value for the 20e asked for it but it's worth pointing out that the licence is attached to your router, not the computer, so if you swap routers the whole time, it can get expensive.

Yes it is per router but if you swap to a new router an email sorts it out and the new router can take over, you only need to pay again if you have 2 routers and both are used at the same time.

Hi All, sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm just after a bit of advice on initial installation and configuration.
Has anyone successfully got this to run on a Raspberry PI? I have tried to follow the instructions on the website but I appear to be missing something, it will almost certainly be something I'm doing incorrectly I'm a complete novice with Pi's.

If you have any tip's and maybe a step by step guide that would be very helpful. If you have also got it to run automatically on booting the Pi that would be helpful to.

Thanks.

It's as simple as listed on their site:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mono-complete

Then unpack the program and run it in graphical interface:
mono ./LTEHMonitor.exe

If you want to run it in a terminal, without a graphical interface:
mono ./LTEHMonitor.exe -cli

Hi Lucian, thanks fir the quick response, I've done the first part:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mono-complete

But I don't know where I run it from...I've unzipped it to my temp folder and I have tried typing, mono ./LTEHMonitor.exe into both Run and into the terminal and both don't work. Do I need to point mono at the .exe some how.

Sorry very new to the mysteries of Linux..

I've just had a Huawei 5G CPE on Three delivered and cannot for the life of me get LTE monitor to see it - I had a AI Cube before that with no problems - did you need to change anything on the router or so anything specific?

The three API doesn't allow it afaik
