Huawei router power consumption

I'm trying to work out if I can run a Huawei B535 on usb. I know they're 12v but don't have a power meter or a way of measuring it.

Does anyone have the same or similar router that can measure power usage idling and load?

The routers power supply is rated at 12V/1A but normal USB is about 5V/1A so it’s not going to be correct.

USB can support higher power but that’s with power delivery which the router isn’t going to support if you use a barrel plug adapter.

You might get it to turn on whilst idling but once it starts using a bit more power and activity is happening you could cause some issues using incorrect power.
