Signed up yesterday and installed today, it works with wi fi 6 much better on my laptop which is using protocol wi fi my speeds today were 860mbe and the upload speed is the same..

My question is what are the best settings?

The minimum term for your broadband service is 24 months • All broadband packages include free standard installation and activation • Average speeds listed are achievable by at least 50% of users on a wired connection at peak times. WiFi speeds may vary • All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable • Cannot be used in conjunction with any promotion or offer • During the first 11 months of your minimum term, the monthly cost for your broadband product will be £1.00 per month. The remaining months of your minimum term will be charged £29.99 per month

Which settings, where?? You're saying you're already getting essentially full gigabit speeds (even over wifi) so there's nothing to be adjusted.

I did wonder at first if this is a shill posting by someone from YouFibre. The current deal on their website is 3 months for £1.

No i don't have anything to do with them they just got started in Carlisle up north. They essentially charge you £1 for the duration of your old contract to sign up for them, I still have to pay for BT..

I was more asking if anyone know of a deal like this I wondered if they's conned me or I just stuck lucky. don't be paranoid.. I was learning about the wi fi 6 settings as my laptop get over 700 to 800 and my friends in the same house gets 200. But only has wifi 5.

I want to also get into the setting to create a mesh and basically look around..!

Yeah I heard one of the sales reps down here in Kent mentioning the same to me about getting people in contract for £1 until their old provider contract is through, then back to 29.99. It's a good way of getting people onboard now as the likelihood is that if they are happy with the service, they will just renew at the end of the term.

if you are in contract with another supplier they will effectively buy it out by giving u YF for £1 for a longer period
