I've been with iD for ages (mainly because they haven't bumped the price on my rolling one month contract for years, so I never get annoyed enough to leave). I have a small 2GB-ish monthly allowance but I actually only use about 300-400MB most months, so I probably start the average month with 3.5GB+ available because of their data rollover feature.
The other day I got a text saying I'd used 80% of my allowance and when I log on to their site it shows I have used something like 75%. My phone's own logging is showing about 400MB, which feels way more plausible - and I have a hard limit on the phone at 1GB. (Their site also seems to show no evidence of my data rollover, even though I'm pretty sure my last bill shows I did roll ove a lot of data, for what it's worth. But I think I ought be fine even if I rolled over nothing.)
iD's site is also showing my bill is estimated at £5.88 even though my basic plan costs £5/month and even according to their site I haven't *yet* exceeded my allowances.
Has this happened to anyone else? It's not a lot of money (although 10p/MB will add up rapidly if I do get charged it, potentially) - and if I do end up paying extra I am almost certainly going to switch away - but I'm annoyed at having to worry about my data use for the remainder of the billing cycle even though I'm pretty sure I haven't used anywhere near my full allowance.
