Improved 5G (mmWave)

Oh quite interesting folks, just thought I'd share it here with you. :giggle:
I wonder what will become of this then.

MKBHD did a video about deployment of 5G in the states and the real world use of mmWave is not great if you don't have line of sight --

I think it is great for stadiums and high capacity areas, but in general use it is not great for the average mobile phone user.

No your'e OK thanks metitez, I don't think we'll ever see any mmWave anywhere in Kilwinning.

Anyway, I still prefer my beloved soap dispensers. 😁

Your soap dispensers (like mine) will probably become the longest lasting tech kit for sometime. But if Ofcom ever auction mmWave spectrum I am sure our curiosity will get the better of us.

Oh I'm sure it definitely will Meatball. :giggle:

I’m not too bothered about mmWave but it sure would be helpful in supplementing areas where mobile data can get congested. Also would be helpful for small cells inside buildings too.

Build out by using low and mid frequency first then add mmWave later.

Is that one of those fancy lead glass cabinets to stop the plastic from yellowing?
