Indoor 4G setup in comercial space building

Then contract with a consultant, who you can be as candid with as you need to be, and who will be bound by confidentiality.

You were running EPOS and card machines a few posts ago, and now you're Mother Teresa running an altruistic not-for-profit.
People like you always makes me lough so hard...you just came here to have a **** didnt you? First of all, I meant that I don't want to explain anything more here in the forum. ALso can you please quote a single word when I mentioned anything about EPOS and card machines? Quite sure you either dreaming about something or read different topic...
So true..

The Op doesn't realise that a Networking professional wont install the consumer grade kit, they will install Enterprise Grade kit, with support and do a job properly, unlike the half job and on the cheap he is doing....

Asking on a forum for professional enterprise solutions is taking the pee to be honest....

OP does realize this, OP also got a quote from professional who wanted to install consumer grade kit.
You guys got few things wrong and assume me working somewhere for someone, doing staff I never said I do and trying to answer questions I never asked. Perhaps, if one is willing to actually reply something, it would be best not to rely on what Miss Tuned is saying but on my first post....? Just thinking on loud...
Back to the question at hand. I think the reality here is that it's a very difficult question to answer, and figuring out the best antenna / kit combo to use for such an unusual situation is going to be tricky.
Thank you! At least one person still remember original question... appreciate that.
All i need is someone with experience to help me understand how "outdoor" antenna might or might not, improve signal if it is used inside the building. Simple as that. I seriously cannot understand why there is so much BS in this topic from people wanting to discharge their sad life frustration on myself...my God..

Please See below some files with signal details. Two different ones as again, it was varied hugely depend of how i pointed tiny SMA antennas on RUTX14.
All I am trying to figure out is what will happen if I replace 4x small antennas with 2x2 Poynting antenna or something like this.

what an utter cruddy way to talk to someone new to the forums seeking information and guidance, its the whole point of this site.

@HavocLP sorry the utter agro you've recieved, not everyone is like that, around here that I've seen, and I'm newish too.

Is it not possible to setup another line to feed the place? and have that as a solid failover rather than a "okay" solution? there's always starlink, but costs are insane, what about piggybacking off one of those unlockexd Zyxel routers with a datasim? Some of these can even be attached to attenas too help with signal?

@HavocLP - I don't think it's going to help if you throw muck back the other way either, as then you end up swimming in the same toilet. So let's move on from this.

On your core question, if we assume you're placing the antenna next to glass, then the glass will absorb some of the signal (reflecting and refracting) and that's going to vary depending upon the composition of the glass and what bands you're able to receive from X mobile operator.

But in general terms, I'd say the impact may be around -4dB, although that really is a bit of a guesstimate. The problem here is that I think you're in an office building, and they often have tinted (or Low-E) glass, so the impact might be anything from -20 to -40dB. You see the problem as there's not a lot you can do about that.

Thank you guys.
Please be aware I know, I am fighting lost battle anyway. Just trying to get anything better than it is now, which is basicaly no internet connection at all. And my manager and myself we have been reaching every possible solutions, and there is nothing else we can do except getting 4G router right now. Situation might change, network perhaps will be fixed...but this will take weeks or even months.
So we have decided to move forward with either Tp-Link MR600 or going and futureproof (as this could be also use in other sites if needed at some point) for Teltonika TRB500. I am sure TRB500 would be overkill, but I can appreciate configuration side of it and signal measurements which could be helpfull to position antenna properly.
I am thinking of getting Poynting Omni-600 or Omni-291. Based on what you guys say and few phone call conversations with installers it will be best to take our chances with Omni antenna as signal inside the building is already bouncing back from each wall, so perhaps Omni will help to catch whatever is there.

As a last resort and only option, without discussing any other scenarios...purely equipment wise, do you guys think this could do....? All i need is to reach speeds and level of stability I can measure on my mobile phone which works perfectly fine even with tethering. But I need full setup to acomodate more than one user.
