Hi All,
When changing from Virgin Media to CF, I have noticed a few strange behaviours
- Sometimes sites like LinkedIn and Amazon don't open on the first try. The browser shows an error (ERR_CONNECTION_RESET, see screenshot), then within a few seconds is able to load the site properly automatically
- I get the same issues with work stuff, e.g. I can't open files shared via Teams or sharepoint links for a good 2-3 minutes after it is shared, after which it opens fine. With teams, I have to open another conversation, then come back to the original conversation, only after that can images posted in chats be opened.
- My LG TV native apps like Netflix and Prime constantly buffer (although works fine via Firestick).
Everything is connected by Wifi and I am using the Linksys routers CF supplies
I tried setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8 on my laptop, thinking its a DNS issue, but that didn't help. When I switch to using my phone for internet (via hotspot), everything works fine.
Any ideas what the issue might be? Could IPv6 be interfering somehow, and if so, can I disable it on a router level?
Thanks
