My internet explorer 6 is drive me mad of sometime it pop up a box display say:

"! An error has occurred in the script on this page"

Line: 112
Char: 11
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://www.ispreview.co.uk/

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes or No

as I press No, but it kept coming back and repeating all times, drive me mad, how to get rid of it ??

Use firefox! :D

Failing that, in IE6 select Tools->Internet Options->Advanced and make sure that Disable Script Debugging(Internet explorer) and Disable Script Debugging(other) are both ticked. Click "apply" and "ok" and you're done! :D

In IE go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.

Enable the following -
Disable Script Debugging (IE)
Disable Script Debugging (other)

Remove the tick from -
Display A Notification About Every Script Error

That should sort it. :)

Simple! User Anyother browsers Like FF or Opera. If you really need IE, there is a IE TAB addin for Firefox which allows you to open a page in IE tab within FF by just click of a button. This is good for those pages which microsoft wont let you open in any other browser.

In IE go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.

Enable the following -
Disable Script Debugging (IE)
Disable Script Debugging (other)

Remove the tick from -
Display A Notification About Every Script Error

That should sort it.

I had tries that as it won't work. Oh well, Microsoft is always hapless. I going to change to firefox instead. Thanks guys for helping out.

Is there any regedit that can disabled script error ???

Strange....when I had installed firefox, it went very well, but very fast. I open up ie6 and the problem of script error had disappear now ! Because of firefox was installed solve this problem out. Strange. :)

After you disabled them did you close the browser and reopen it?

If not that is what else was needed.

What I did is disabled it, then close the browser and reboot pc and try internet explorer on IE6 and still same problem. Until, I installed firefox. I closed and shutdown firefox. I try IE6 by open up the browser, out of suddenly, the problem had disappear ! I try my test of uninstalled firefox and try again open up IE6 and the problem come back again. So, I had to put firefox back again, so my IE6 is working again with no script error only when the firefox is installed on my pc. Strange but odd.

It a pity that Microsoft doesn't have any clue how to solved this.

I stick to firefox and put IE6 on my plug in in the toolbar on firefox, that will do. :)

I get this error on WMP10 when using internet radio and it is trying to display the sites playlist inside WMP. It never used to happen with WMP8 or 9. I had to format and re-install fresh copies of everything just last week and the problem started as soon as I connected, so it is something "Buggy" in WMP or WinXP rather than a corrupted file in general.
