iPOD for PC

Hi

im looking to buy a ipod as i dropped my old mp3 plyer smashing it to pieces

im looking to buy a ipod for my pc but i want the 10 or 20 gig one

i have found a few on ebay but they all say you need firewire or sumthing like that to use it

i dont have firewire is there another way ? maybe usb or sumthing like that?

if someone could get me some links to the product pref to a company in uk who sells it that uses usb

cheers

You do use Firewire with the iPod. Why not invest in a circa £20 Firewire PCI card for your current pc? Seems little cost compared to the £300 plus or so iPod.

so if i get this 20 pound pci card i will be able to transfer files to my ipod?

hope so as im spending 300 quid on it

cheers

Well it would give your mobo Firewire capability if it doesn't already have it.
Think those cards are a bit more expensive than I thought. Belkin Firewire PCI card is £55 at Dabs.com and that gives you 3 Firewire ports.

Im sure you have already looked here and read what it says under the iPod for PC section.
Why not splash out on a nice Audigy card and get a firewire port that way?

nar m8 i dont have money like that

i just have enough for the ipod and firewire card

looks like ill have to go that way if i want such a beautifull thing :D

on ebay the seem to sell them about 100 pound cheaper

maybe look there

cheers for your help
