Any clues? I travel and can normally connect to webmail with no problem in hotels and unis but today got an error message on that while at home. Home broadband works fine for Skype and Google (bbc etc) but the ISP is dire. I use Outlook (not Outlook Express) and IE6. Frequent messages that maildrop cannot be locked, is someone else on line and the even more puzzling 'server responded ????' There is no-one else online when I try logging in. I do have an internet address routed to home eail and am assured that that is NOT the problem (ISP says so). ISP has tried blaming BT who say 'not me guv and what's more you aren't on our broadband so we don't care'. ISP has put several renamed script readers online and they just don't have the engineering knowledge even when they crack enough to depart from the script a touch. Clues welcome.
