OK, got away from the disaster that was Entanet and have now joined ICUK,
Migration went smoothly, took around 11days and went live today, as they said it would.
I was kept informed and my emails were answered very quickly, (except for the bank holiday, which I forgot about
)
Just had a shufty at the web control panel and other options, all seems good.
Speeds
At present I'm on around 1.2Mbps (Entanet was 5-6Mbps) but I have not mentioned it to ICUK yet as I'm assuming there is a period of adjustment? like when you first get broadband, 10days where the line is tested to see what "max" speeds it will support?
Really wanted to download the RC1 of Windows 7 and the New patch for UT3
but that's not going to happen until the speed gets up to decent levels.
Glad to be a new ICUK member and looking forward to a nice long trouble free connection. Paul has also been very helpful via email during the initial setup.
