After many stupid years with AOL I decided on O2 as new broadband supplier, for cost reduction, speed (hopefully) and service. This thread is just to comment on their ordering system and it's a WOW.
Ordered online Fri 1000, had text all day confirming order and username/password etc,1300 text to say date of cut over,21:30 (and this is best bit) text to say router being delivered 17th if not ok reply with 1 for 18th 2 for 19th etc, now that is customer service and technology together and guess what, it turned up as promised.
Now this could all go flat if the DSL service is bad, but from other threads I've read it's fine.
I'll post another update when it's in and running on the DSL service, but if you're looking for something hard to find these days called customer service might be worth looking at O2.
