Leaving BT Broadband dont want BT Sport? You need to cancel BT Sport yourself!

For those leaving BT Broadband for another ISP, as I understand it only you can cancel your BT Sport package, not your new ISP, so if like me you never got it working and then saw charges on your bill for this originally free service make sure you cancel and ask for refund of charges. You wont find an easy way to cancel it but I managed to cancel by the online chat service.
If you don't cancel it when you change to new ISP (I have moved ton Zen) you may find a surprise of an £19.99 charge from BT you weren't expecting!

Yes this is because Ofcom's migration system currently only covers fixed line broadband and phone services, thus mobile and TV products are for the time being handled under separate systems. The regulator is currently looking at how both can be included so that future quad-play switches are easier to handle.
