uswitch has some great deals with Lebara that nobody else has.

5p cheaper per month than topcashback plus initial 3 months cheaper. Now this lacks the direct £13 topcashback but if you go to uswitch topcashback you actually get £10.20 for sim only purchase.

In essence you're about £11 better off doing this than the topcashback only deal I posted last week.

I had to ask Lebara to enable 5G on my new SIM. VoLTE and VoWifi worked fine, but no 5G. After a quick live chat and a reboot, 5G appeared straight away.

Anyone elses lebara from MSE deals is dropping 4g and switching to Edge from time to time and then goes back to 4g?

Hi dribbler, I'm not with Lebara now, but mine done that a few times around a couple of months ago.

I left for Talkmobile to avoid Lebara's speed cap, apart from that I quite liked Lebara. :)

I thought that talk was also speed capped, has something changed?
No there's no speed cap on Talkmobile Jason19885.
I didn't know they ever had one. 🤷‍♂️

Yes, someone commented on here a while ago and I've seen it myself in the past with a hard cap of around 95 Mbps regardless of location or network condition
Oh righty oh, well it's definitely not capped now.

I liked Lebara for more data for your pennies, but I like to do network speed tests on my day trips and it was a bit pointless with Lebara on Vodafone 5G sites only getting a max of 180 megs, so that's why I switched. 😊

I get 300-700 megs now with Talkmobile on 5G sites. 👍

I took out a Lebara £1 sim the other day as a back-up to my unlimited EE sim I have to agree that Lebara is slow below 30Mbps in my area, I guess you get what you pay

Yeah, to be honest Lebara was great, I never had any problems with them, I liked their app too, just hated the imposed speed caps when you want to test 5G speeds. 😊

There are some older comments on HUKD about Talkmobile customer service saying that there is a 150Mbps speed cap. I think the unrestricted speed is kind of recent.
