Lines Cleared

Hi, to let you know that if you are requiring a reconnection on your ADSL line, we have a way around the long delays and some of our new sign ups have gone live already. If you are after signing up please contact our service support team on 0871 424 0185 and they can start the process quickly.

Our ADSL package is £15.95 per month with no contractual period and a 100GB per month FUP.

What "long delays" ?

BT are really quick these days at reconnections, 6 hours seems quite common and the ISP you choose really does not make any difference.

Here's a few random examples of people connected in a day or less, one person joined AOL and was connected in 6 hours.

Another ISP on this site claims to have had customers online in 5 hours.
There were plenty of V21 customers that ordered ADSL on Saturday when their ceases went through, and joined ISPs such as Newnet,Orange etc and were back on within 24 hours and some within six.

Sometimes you get a american IP address, which might be the problem.

Try them using the AOL proxy uk.proxy.aol.com port 80 for http: port 443 for https:

(should you need any help start a new thread in the AOL forum )
