Lists of suppliers

Can someone give or point me to a list of Entanet suppliers?

Im looking for cheap broadband, Im talking sub £16 here. Prefferably with a good company, Im willing to suffer upto a 2GB cap or traffic shaping rather than go with a dodgy supplier.

And anyone else other than Entanet if its cheap enough and deemed reliable. Currently with eclipse, but all the recent reviews and comments make me want to leave. Im moving house in the next month, so activation will be an issue too.

Depends what you mean by suppliers? Generally speaking it's Enanet that do the supply side of things for vISP's. If you check our xDSL ISP listings then any provider with v(5) in the 'Notes' should be Entanet based.

Tempting, I have always wanted to go with Zen, but doesnt that take it to £17.78 (I did it too quick I think)? If I was to take that package, do I get a warning when I hit the 2GB limit? I dont want to wander over and pay for the extra GB.

Normally I wouldnt be so tight, but Im moving into a house (with mortgage) and its going to be very tight monthly.

That will incur activation fee aswell I have noticed this changes from one ISP to another, £40 to around £55 avoid the delayed activation options or you could get stung with activation around £80

Or if you go for an ISP that insists on a long contract in exchange for free activation (and maybe even a free router + even a Laptop ) so you could get stung for up to 2 years subscription if you leave during the minimum term.

Probably, I'll have a look later. Its expensive, and Im not sure if I'll go over the 2GB yet, but thats the ultimate no hassle ISP.

Edit: No Mel, not much chance of that.

I like the look of an unlimited ISP for £15 odd...should be any trouble, no contracts either :D

FWIW
The £15 you refer to is really £17.99pm.
I have been with them for two years with one outage due to someone digging up BT cables somewhere. I might mention that due to the length of my line (5miles) coupled with poor quality cable I can only get 256k.

You get emails at 50% 75% 90% usage and then when you hit 100% you will get redirected to a webpage asking you to buy more usage, you can check in the portal how much you have used and we do a few small apps that will tell you have much you have used, at the moment the MAC widget is in beta.

I would normally recommend that you buy 5 gig extra to start with and see how you go, if you find yourself using it to quickly go on the active package that has 20 gig, the purchased bandwidth does roll over till you have used it and if you do choose to leave then it will be refunded AFAIK, one month contract no leaving fee and if you want a MAC theres no problem in giving it to you over the phone then or in a email within the day.

UK based support 95% of support have some sort of degree in IT, but is only open 8-8 and 9-5 at weekends, theres no limit on the call time a call takes as long as it needs, my personal longest was just over 3 1/2 hours over 3 calls one afternoon which I did get sorted in the end.

We provide clean bandwidth no shaping or throttling, after learning quite a bit of what the industry is like if I was to leave Zen as a employee my connection would still stay with them even if I moved to a different ISP, I want to use what I have paid for how I want to use it within the limits of what is available to me phone line etc.

If I could trust any ISP offering truely unlimited access no throttling port blocking etc under 40-50 quid and it was proven reliable I would prob have a 2nd line installed and use that for my servers.
