Longshot - Anyone using Sipgate VOIP with a Huawei B535 via Three?

As above, ditched the BT line a few months back. Running Threes unlimited Mobile Broadband on a B535 router.

Using Sipgate but is very erratic. Seems ok via mobile app (GS Wave), but pairing it with an ATA to use our old BT phones is very erratic. Might work for a bit, then we can't hear someone on other end of line. Plus, Sipgates help desk is woeful.

So, currently running BT cordless phone, attached to a Grandstream HT 812 ATA, which is then attached to the B535.

Just asking on offchance someone running a similar setup and offer some guidance!

Cheers in advance

Nearly - I'm using Sipgate with a Gigaset phone on Smarty/Three 4G. But I'm using Mikrotik routers not Huawei.

One thing to check, does the Huawei have an option for "SIP Inspection" or "SIP ALG"? Most providers want anything like that switched off. These are supposed to fix up SIP and SDP headers to account for NAT, but most providers want to see the original headers. Gigaset and I assume other kit uses its own techniques to help with NAT traversal and stateful firewalls.

I’ve been using the VOIP adapter built into my B535-235 on EE with sipgate basic, and yes it has been somewhat erratic (mostly with the phone not ringing), although it seems to have settled down the past few weeks and is working ok now. As aessmith says, make sure you have “SIP ALG” turned off and try disabling UPnP

I use both a 525 and a 535 with sipgate at two locations. Set up as per the guide and working perfectly. The Linksys adapters are just plugged into network switches at convenient points. One ATA takes two lines, the other only one line, both genuine used units sourced from ebay for little cost to experiment with, I was lucky both times. Copy units are also available new but the power plug is likely to fail according to info' available and my brother in Australia who had one and I'm not sure about the units themselves but he got another power plug and as far as I know it's still working. I also use the android app (Mizudroid) on a mobile but it only supports one line at a time which has to be selected, that is supposed to be sorted at some point they say.
I also have a cordless phone connected to the 525 to make use of the included smarty minutes.
The location where the 535 is gets no 4G signal from the local mast 2 miles away (all networks use the same compound) as my place is blind to the mast, the 3/smarty signal I get is from across a stretch of open sea about 24 miles away according to cellmapper but I get good service of about 30Mbps average, sometimes peaking about 60Mbps, the weather and tide can cause issues but it always works. Location of the 535 router - on the window cill in the utility room, at a slight angle and sitting on top of a metal dog biscuit tin! Anywhere else and no joy, same with an O2 sim I tried. Vodafone sim works OK at the front of the house but not ideal location for gadgets and stuff!
Using the 525 at that location the drop to 3G for calls incoming and outgoing usually failed unless conditions were ideal so use the 535 there.
Slight thread drift, sorry.

Edit - added detail.
