If you can't find the part number etc. then the alternative is to hunt for the power/amp/watt details of the original connector and to then consider buying a multi-adapter that might fit your device. To be honest that might be more trouble than it's worth.

Better yet, email orderentry@antec.com directly to ask.

have popped off an email to their support. however as the cable was chucked all l have is a little print by the power input. tho they are still being sold (the full pad) but l dont want to pay full price for something l only want part of.

What is the non-usb end of the cable look like, the photo you linked to doesnt really help.

In the photo it looks very much like the charging cable for a Jabra bluetooth headset.

its about the best l can do, but lm sure you hit the nail on the head considering l havent seen many of these types of cables.

Is it a very skinny, 2 contact pin connection, about 2mm across??

I may have one here somewhere - btw, not the Jabra, I double checked, but from my old earpiece - make forgotten.

Of course I might be mistaken and it may be a mains plug charger, which would probably be no good as it wouldnt supply enough current. I usually have the USB lead as well, so I can charge everything off of the netbook when travelling abroad.

all l remember is its a thin round input, it has 5v 0.4a printed beside it. all it is is usb to power. which powers a couple of 80mil fans.

I will have a rummage in the garage Glory box* and my PC room's "big box of cables" over the weekend for you.

* An old "roadie" equipment box I acquired many years ago

appreciated.

any luck? thought ld remind you just in case you forgot lol. l only just remembered myself.

Sorry, I had forgotten until last night, I will check on Saturday.

In my defence, our daughter is ill and had to be rushed into hospital, she is still poorly and not sleeping well, so we are short on sleep right now. Last nights 3 1/2 hours was the best all week.

no worries mate, can totally understand your priorities. hope your daughter starts feeling better soon.

Bad news so far, I have looked through 3 boxes of cables and not spotted it; there are a few odd and ends dotted about in the garage I will try and look at tomorrow, but there is only one small part-box of cables left to delve through and I cant get to it until morning.

On the up-side, I found my missing flip-flop, now I just need some nice summery weather.......

no worries, l appreciate you taking a gander regardless. as for the flipflop lol.. its nice when you find things you thought you had lost :p

that being said, l never let winter stop me wearing mine :) then again l tend to be impervious to the cold these days.

Sorry, no joy, it might be around somewhere, but I havent found it yet; still you know sods law, I will stop looking and stumble over it next week.

As for the flip flop, I only managed to wear the damned things once this summer, then Heidi took a liking to it and kept crawling away with it and chewing at the toe end...
It's only as cheap pair anyway, my sister borrowed and lost my really nice leather and wood "desert wellies" years ago.

l have that issue with screw drivers.. l cant find them when l want them but when l dont need them they are all over the place.. l had to use a pen knife to do the screws on my new TV LOL 5mins later l found a screw driver.. its always the way XD

as for the loosing of the flipflop.. lve had it happen a few times in the past year or two, but thats mainly down to my sisters cow of a dog. generally lm behind a dog gate (my room and the bathroom are generally protected behind it) but sometimes someone leaves it open which can be a problem when the bath is full as both dogs love water (would be a big problem if they shook in my doorway as its mostly open in summer months). but lve had my flipflops chewed quite a few times, but l guess since they are reasonably cheap its not as bad as loosing a pair of shoes lol. l just buy mine off ebay could likely use a new pair soon as mine have got a tare in them from the dog running off with them.
