yeah, I had the same

i came back on, but with over 150mS latency

tonight (31st Sept) been getting only 1 meg with 156mS latency BUT

found a very, very, weak unsecured wifi signal. connected via that & got over 2 meg & 54mS latency

sheesh

now I'm back to being told to run wimMTR again

I hope we are not going back to the back old days. its been working quite well for ages now

and strangely, the probs with emails quoted on F4 site...I'm not aware of having had any probs with email. curious

I've also been experiencing speed drop problems for the first time in many months.

Mainly during the evening when speeds are dropping to 300-500 bps (about a quarter of my sync rate) - although seems to be fine during the day.

Anyone else seeing these changes ? Are we about to enter another few months of uncertainty ? ....and wasn't the last time like this also in the run up to Christmas ?

You sure it's 300 to 500 Bps (Bits per second) and not Kbps?

Congestion returns

Tech support are blaming my new router. Just like they blamed the old one.

But I'm getting over 6.5meg download speed (speedtest.net) in the small hours,

About 4 meg in the early afternoons (before kids come home), then

down to 1 to 1.5 meg during the early evenings, with over 150mS latency

Seems like congestion to me.

...here we go again, eh.

My speed doubles after midnight, so I'm assuming it's a contention thing.
