Making sense of NR5103e reception results

Looking for a ltiile insight on some results i have with different antenna options. I live 172 meters from a Three 5g mast.

Option 1 - Three branded NR5103E with internal antennas in loft, one brick wall beween router and cell mast.

Option 2 - Three branded NR5103E internal board u.fl connections > U.fl to SMA pigtales > poynting XPOL-1-5G 4x4 MIMO mounted external, Line of sight to cell mast.

I have tested both options with the results below;

OPTION 1OPTION 2
Access TechnologyNR5G-NSANR5G-NSA
BandB3,B1,B28,78B3,B1,B28,n78

Why do i get a faster result with worse values in the table above? Can someone please explain?

Thanks

The external antenna may be messing up mimo, that said you do get better speeds with the antenna - on the upload, which can be quite valuable.
Those are great speeds btw, count yourself lucky.

Your best bet is putting the router in somewhat line of sight to the mast.

Usually in these situations we do not recommend people get an external antenna.

Thanks for the reply.

Yer i know im lucky, im quite rural too so not much connected to the mast!

Im just being greedy to get as much as i can really, and i like tinkering with things like this but just couldnt get my head around the values being better but DL speeds worse.

Might have a play swapping round connections to see what that does.

Cheers

Yeah, try to plug the cables in different combinations of ports on the router, might improve dl speeds.
