MikroTik Chateau 5G Router

When you look at 'Quick Set' on the web interface or Winbox which configuration is active? Also, is the bridge setup for all the interfaces (you should get an 'S' next to the ethernet port in the Interface List if it's available and an 'RS' if it's connected)?
Under configuration bridge is active

In bridge on the left bar I have
Bridge
BridgeLocal and both are enabled but both have R next to them.

I'm not, no.

One thing I forgot to mention, check the APN settings and make sure 'Use Network APN' is not selected. If it's selected you won't get an internet connection (but you will get all the connection stats showing).

I think that it's been opened up and the WiFi is unplugged, just a guess but if the WiFi is showing disabled if it's not wired in it will disable itself.
That's what I was thinking. I then flashed QCOM AC instead of just QCOM and the WiFi is working.

But router randomly reboots randomly. Well if play a long YouTube video or do a speed test. Wth heck is that all about!?

unpopular opinion :: extremely overpriced average 5G router.

My IT friend was drooling over this and wanted to buy it off due to all the features it has
im a recent addition to the mikrotik fanclub and trying hard to like my router despite feeling some things are a bit delibereatly difficult. but i tried the chateau 5G and didn't find it any better than any other 5G router except for the fact that it had a better CLI and interaction with the underlying hardware. But that's not like I couldn't do that exact same thing for half the price with a linux router, the same 5G modem and mmcli/modem manager. I don't think mirotik is "bad" per se. But I do think it's very overpriced. for what it is. It's features to me, aren't better than mmcli.

Is it good kit? for sure.
Do you pay a premium for it? oh yes.
Does it perform better than a £200 Huawei (gonna get a beat down from the anti-huawei people for this one) .. nope.

If you've performed a Netinstall you need to add a wireless package I'd recommend using the Wifi-qcom-ac one. Basically you need to download the packages for this from Mikrotiks website and then upload it to the router. You may want to do a factory reset after this as the WiFi interfaces likely won't be added or enabled on the bridge. You should then be able to use quickset to get yourself going with it. RouterOS has a very steep learning curve and until you get used to it you will run into problems as you can change absolutely everything with it and end up with something that doesn't work or locks you out. Also if you do make changes with winbox or webfig and you then use quickset afterwards it will wipe out all the changes you made. So use quickset just to get you going, don't use it after that to make any changes.

So QCOM AC was the solution but reboots when there seems to be loads. Read something similar to change power supply. Deffo seems like original adapter wasn't provided.

Peel the label off, what's the power rating of it? Mikrotik supply that device with a 1.2A 24v PSU.
