Mobile Broadband great, Wifi limited?

We have recently invsted in a Huawei B818-260 router and the Poynting XPOL-2 Antenna. We have a switch box in the loft, and I have a cat 5 cable going from the router up there, which services a few devices by ethernet, like my mac. The signal into the router is great, and right next to it is also good, it just seems to have a very small broadcast area.

I purchased some white BT Whole Home discs and set them up, but the signal still seems to fluctuate, so we must have very thick walls. Are Devolos the next step, or is there an alternative? I'm getting a bit concerned about the £.. Thanks

Are the bt discs connected with the ethernet cable? If not, then I suggest to try that, if the devices allow it.

Otherwise I recommend the cheap Vodafone thg3000 devices off ebay. I run my household on 2 of these (grand total cost of about £20) and the signal is awesome. They have connected via an ethernet cable in one of the yellow ports. This is a good video about it :

Hi - Yes they are, where they can be. Those ones are ok but I think I'm going to try the Vodafone devices as well. Much cheaper than the devolo. Many thanks, will update once I have them set up.
