Unfortunately that is not SA. You should see no LTE band and nPerf should report SA.
NOOOOOOOOOO dont say that!

Definitely probably not 😂
As you can see ive been informed that it's not SA, because LTE is also listed? why are we sure that it is shows the info for SA and LTE, but the capabilities are SA only its not SA?

I'm not sure you're correct... others on here please correct me if I'm wrong?

When it says SA only at the top you're connected to Stand Alone.

If like the below it says SA+NSA and you can see an LTE band below in the further information then you're connected to NSA but in a SA enabled area.

4G obviously says LTE with the band lower down in FTM.

In my case nPerf shows the network as SA when I have SA in capabilities in FTM and 5G bands only reported. The moment a LTE band appears, nPerfs switches it’s reporting to NSA.

I trust this, because SA would stick in nPerf for the whole speedtest if no LTE bands appear in FTM.

I'm not sure I would trust a third party app to report connection type correctly just yet. FTM wouldn't be reporting different capabilities with the SA toggle changed if there wasn't a difference.

When I'm connected to SA in my 16PM I'm getting 179Mbps down if I switch it over the connection hands down to 4G and back up to 5G and then I'm getting 253Mbps.

I also tend to think this, because in the past week I’ve been in the same SA enabled area and it always said SA+LTE today for the first time it said SA, only in the capability section.. and this only happened when Vodafone said they are deleted and re-added it to my account

The other thing I have looked at is locking my S24U to SA only on Vodafone, connected to N78 and side-by-side the speedtest results match when FTM is reporting SA.

Ooo I like this..

Is the SA toggle only available on certain networks with iOS 18? Just upgraded to 18 and can’t find this toggle!

Only on certain handsets, the 15 series onwards.

Also, depending on your network only some tariffs or those taken after a certain date (Vodafone & EE).

To complicate matters more if you’re on O2 you might need a new R15 SIM.

My esim.net Vodafone Unlimited sim supports 5G SA in my iPad Pro M4 11inch.

Looks like it is supported as well by o2 on the iPad, but trying to get the esim to enable 5G SA is impossible as even generating a new esim just doesn't give you the option

The Vodafone esim.net sim, seems to be more and more good value... (£23 less than Voda charge for all the same features.. )

Have you been able to connect and use SA on Vodafone via your eSIM.net plan? Seems there are mixed reports of success even if the toggle is present. As you say for £25/m rolling the eSIM.net plan is great value especially if SA support is available.

Not yet as only just noticed it and need to check where it is available near me, and remember to take the iPad (and not annoy the wife)...

When I used VF via esim.net in April SA was disabled on my plan. Do you have any examples of the reports confirming SA?

Sorry I wasn’t particularly clear! I meant there have been mixed reports of devices not on Vodafone’s official list working on SA. I’m not planning to get an iPhone 16 series phone and as the iPhone 15s aren’t listed as supported I’m particularly interested to see if the iPad Pro M4 will connect to SA via the eSIM.net plan as it gives me hope my unsupported device might also.
