It's been/being tested in Newbury but not much progress beyond that so far as I know
Thank you! I moved to Vodafone from EE due to an offer from my current employer to port my number in their fleet (unlimited everything, including worldwide roaming) and kind of miss the EE techy things. Vodafone in the past was the first to make available new tech, but that is not the case anymore. Still, Vodafone UK voice is clearer on 2G than EE on 4G and most probably VoNR.

O2 (Virgin Media O2) have standalone 5G deployed on an Ericsson small cell in Birmingham. Performance reasonable for 40MHz n78.

Over 80mbps was possible from the 1800MHz 4G also broadcast - illustrates the throughput 4T4R and 256QAM enables even on small spectral bandwidths.

I believe these are the next iteration of small cell deployment, with more to come next year as older ones are replaced.

Here's a somewhat less common "looking" small cell type, a few of these around Fulham and Parsons Green

Really wish they would put some of these up in Wolverhampton.

Does anyone know if Vodafone deployed SA only on n78? I haven’t seen SA on any other band even if N8 and N1 was showing in London.

iPhone15 only connects on n78 in London. Can it be something wrong with the provisioning of the service on my line?

I mean I was totally being sarcastic if I’m honest 😛
We all knew that andyukguy, but we're all far too polite to even mention it.😊
