Thank you. After much deliberation I will be going with them. Basic FTTP with VOIP and porting my number from Idnet to them. I'm pretty confident other than to hope that Openreach can successfully pull the fibre from the pavement pit to the house ( the house opposite encountered a blockage). I'll take their router but might upgrade to the slightly higher grade Technicolour for an extra £30 (I need to see if it would offer better performance than the standard router)..
I might need to get a local computer engineer round to connect the new router to the printer, pnones, TVs etc. I've always had access to a tame bloke to help me get stuff sorted ... he's retired so I need to try a new one.
