Hi,
I have just signed up with RuralInternet after being with Nildram for the last 4 years, and am very happy with the performance of their service so far.
During the 4 years I was with Nilly, the first 2-3yrs were great on fixed packages, with little downtime, consistent speeds and helpful prompt support. The last year on adaptive rate has been a mixed bag though, support response times seems to have suffered and the peak speeds have dropped dramatically (500kbps-1Mb average during weekdays) which is not acceptable as I can only get 3Mb max.
I am however sad that Nilly appear to have lost the edge they once had, as the introduction of their new bandwidth policy, the poor peak daytime speeds and obviously overloaded support infrastructure has spelled the end for me.
Id still like to thank them for their service though, there are worse ISP's, however they should now realize they are no longer in the ranks they once were and try and sort it out.
