Hi.
Currently I'm on a 108mbps Virgin service which seems pretty good tbh. We're moving soon and it looks as though all that's available is BT's FTTC services. I'm a bit confused by all the different speeds quoted by BT and other suppliers. For example BT say their "Fibre 1" service is up to 50mbps and "Fibre 2" up to 73mbps. Perhaps someone could explain what the difference is?
Then I look at other providers, eg John Lewis, EE, Plusnet, SSE etc and all their services are quoted at up to 67mbps and I'm assuming they are all using BT's FTTC connections.
Could someone explain the differences?
Regards
