Woooo cool :)

Active X can be good if used properly, but most of the time it isnt

Mozilla.org's XPI installer is good, though its really only used for themes and addons

I never come across sites that won't work in Mozilla, apart from natwest online banking, formatting isnt a problem either :)

Natwest (nwolb.com)works with Firefox 0.8 - at least it does for me.

I have used Firefox since it was Firebird. I use it for most of my web browseing but some sites still don't like it :( .

Wow, it works in Mozilla too!! It's been so long since I tried it in Mozilla, I've just got into the habit of running it in IE, but it works in Mozilla :D

Wooooo, no use for IE now

Thanks

Install the User Agent Switcher extension -
http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/#useragentswitcher

Add Netscape 7.1 in User Agent Switcher options

Visit launch.com and select Netscape 7.1 from tools --> User agent switcher menu

To be honest, it's too messy but I thought you'd like to see a way round the problem.

I already got the active X thingy installed on my firefox as lot of the asain movie sites doesn’t work wit out it. :(

I never heard abt the Agent Switcher extension it’s really cool I’m gone give it a try tonight.

If it’s work I’ll get rid of IE for good

Any extension to control real audio (on demand radio in 1xtra ) (http://www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/) audio works but I can’t control the skip 5 mins or the volume options

Tabbed browsing and pop-up stopper was enough for me.

Plus it will also clear all cookies after each session as well as only take content from the originating site - means a lot less ads.

The banks can choose whether or not to support a browser, and then specify the level of security.

Up until I swapped to Firefox, Mozilla always was rejected by NatWest with a msg saying 'You are using an unsupported browser'. However, it did work with Cahoot (Abbey National's Online bank), which won't work with less than 128 bit encryption.

Basically, check with you bank, or download and try it. No bank system will let you in unless the encryption is working as it should and at a high enough level.

My favourite is "Flash Click to View". Instead of compeletely disabling Flash, you get a panel which says (you guessed) "Flash - Click to View", so you don't have to suffer irritating, irrelevant and distracting Flash objects that you have no interest in, but can easily view the relevant ones that you do want to see.

I missed FlashClick on the list - I'm glad you pointed it out cos it's brilliant.

I couldnt go back now, I use Thunderbird for mail, previously I used Opera (5 or 6, cant remember what was the newest then), before that I used webmail :p

Now using firefox as me browser, with a large bunch of extensions :) :)
