Mozillion any good?

It's gone up to £6.99 on android. I've not heard of it but I've just bought it. Seems to work really well with my VoIP number.
Yes, relies on push notifications, works well without killing the battery.
Even £6.99 one time payment is well worth it.

It only misbehaves on 3rd part ROMs without (proper) Google services, obviously, so it didn't work for me, but wife's a happy user.

One time acrobits sub (I use the Groundwire variant) also makes it ‘free’ to install for any other member of your Apple or Google family sharing App Store sub.

Works really well as said. I’ve currently got two geo numbers for home and work that I use concurrently (historic Sipgate Basic sub, so zero monthly charges) anywhere in the world where I use my phone / have a data connection.

Does anyone know if Mozillion cut you off if you use all of your data allowance? Just wary at the moment as I can’t track how much I am using and don’t want to build up charges! Thanks

Did you get the email about their new usage dashboard?

Thanks for the info, mate. What kind of notifications are we talking about? I keep missing my nest doorbell notifications as it's just a regular notification and not like an alarm/phone call

It's a phone call like process, but the app stays dormant until woken up by the Google push notifications, that's what I meant.

Yes, looks like they do

“When you’ve used all of your monthly data allowance, we’ll send you another text. If you run out of data, you won’t be able to use your plan to connect to the internet”

Hopefully they will introduce some way of checking your data balance soon like an app or even a short code or something,

Doesn’t really affect me as I went for the unlimited bundle.

Noticed today that it is now possible to pay by debit card (via the PayPal system).

Also tested call forwarding, didn’t think it was supported but tried anyway and lo and behold it works.

Recently left Spusu to try Mozillion - for some reason phone is dropping to 4G more often whereas before it would stay on 5G. Do Mozillion not have access to all EE bands?

Thats good news. Sidesteps the problem of there being no roaming outside Europe. Puts them ahead of 1pmobile as well. Wish I'd known that before I signed up with Vodafone for a year. Thanks for posting the info!
