So you're a yearly upgrader?

Mine is very random

Dec 2017-Dec 2018: A3 (2017)
Dec 2018-May 20: A6 (2018)

Dec 2020-July 2022: Moto g8 Power Longest Lasted Phone
July 2022- Aug 2022: Alcatel 1068. (Only had £20 to my name 😂) it was hard finding a SIM free burner that doesn't require minimum airtime.
Aug 2022-Oct 2022: Samsung tab A 8 inch 4G. Thought getting a tablet phone as a main was a good idea.
Oct 2022-Nov 2022: Alcatel 1 2019 (turned out living with a 4G tablet as a main wasn't a great idea)
Nov 2022 to Dec 2023: Samsung A13 included on 3 contract that i'm still on
Dec 2023 - Present: Samsung A54

Oct 2021 - Feb 2024: POCO X3 Pro (phone died, used a Huawei P20 for two days in between)

so what do you do with the old devices then, in a bulging drawer in the pantry :D

They all broke ☹️, thats when I replace them
Your phones clearly don't last long 😂

The POCO died on me and there's nothing I can do about it. Honor 9 Lite still works perfectly well as a phone for someone on EE (although no VoLTE) who only uses it for basic activities.

I don't know what the hell happened to the Cubot or Samsung but the battery is dead in the iPhone and I need a new SIM slot

Sadly, I do not have those spare funds for an annual phone change or the flagships of Korea.

Would stick to the Chinese £ 250 to 300 range, till I win the lottery (one day) !

For ~£350 you'll find some flagships from ~2 years ago that have better hardware that many new mid rangers. And now that you get 4-7 years of support with Android flagships, they'll still be supported for the 2-3 years you'll keep them.

Mine is so small it doesn't even need a list 😆

May 5 2018 (I think) - the day when I became road safe to cross roads by myself (basic dumb phone, doro 5516, served it's purpose)

A few years down the line, or about two or so. Think 2020 at somepoint (can't recall what month, think it may have been February though) Nokia 1.3, was okay, but honestly found it worse than the doro 😆 add on the fact a pin bent and was unable to charge it anymore.

Then we get to 2021. The device I still have to this day and still wonder every day how it somehow works despite everything (Nokia 5.4) March 18th (even today, full charge 7h left to 5h left now, have only used it for about 45 minutes with some break)

Some few days ago that was 19h on full charge, to 23h on full charge to very quickly 6 hours on full charge after only 1 hour and 45 minutes in use. Not even heavy use either, light browsing and some texts and calls.

But still havent come across a decent phone, reasonably priced, with 2 physical sims PLUS 1 eSIM. (total 3, although only 2 may be active, I uderstand)

And memory card slot and replaceable battery.
