My three Years with Pipex

Well its been a long road.
I used to be under a wireless broadband liberty broadband, firstnet etc when pipex took it over, every thing stayed the same no problems.
Year 2 the wireless broadband was desolved due to adsl comming into the area and all accounts where canceled, there was no offer to migrate to adsl
just a letter to say you can sign up with us if you like.....
year 2-3 i was on a 1mb adsl service which acctually suited me fine as
the ping rates where low.I was never offered to upgrade my package to 8mb.
Year 3 came about and well my credit card number changed and thats where they ditched me.I forgot to update my details online and they never took payment. After phoning them when my service stopped i found this out, they knew what had happened and failed to contact me vire email or phone.
I paided the full amount in one go and thought oops my mistake, service as usual after the payment. How wrong was i, a week later all services cut off !
I phoned them to be told they did not want me as a customer due to 1 none payment on the account even tho it was all update in full and they knew why they had not got the payment.
To say i was disapointed with them after being a loyal customer is all i can say. Bad service! ooh and the 9-5 support kinda suxs too.
Lucky i had adsl on the other line so no problems there only that it was virginmedia.

Pipex is now part of Tiscali and customer services has been re-organized. I don't think I need say any more about why service has got so bad.

I was also a long standing Pipex member...however, that was just 0.5meg broadband then to 2mb when it was available.....I was ...hmm...maybe 4 years with them. Was really sad to leave them as they are a lovely bunchbut I'm with a better provider now and haven't looked back for almost 1 and a half.

you know, I'd almost agree with you, but the "used" to be a lovely bunch. That year and a half you've been away has seen things change an awful lot!

I had a tech issue 3 years ago - resolved in 24 hours.

1.5 years ago, i moved house - no bother at all, even very helpful in the slight delay becasue the dingus I moved house from didn't get his finger out to transfer his tags.

But my recent experience (16 days and counting, no broadband, 14 calls to customer care, 7 different case reference numbers, only to be passed back to square one....) is unbelievable
