NDO New Price Misleading

Have been with NDO for 10 months ,service, speed and customer service has been good, but the cost is too -high.When I asked for information about alternative packages customer service advised me to wait for the very competative new prices starting on July 1st.Coincidentley this was the date they announced they had been acquired by Names. On July 1st they rolled out the new tariffs, which for me using 17gb a month is no saving at all.Am migrating to ADSL4LESS on a monthly contract for £14.95 per month.

Not misleading, but maybe the pages could do with a bit of a clean and tidy. Looks a bit confusing to those who dont know what they are looking for.

i think the new prices are not to bad compared to most of the good ips.

would be cool if you got rollover GB added to next month.

also what do you download to reach 17 GB every month?
surely there can't be that much more music left for you to download and most of your time now would be spent looking for new stuff to download.
do you just download for the fun of it ?

ndo also wouldn't make any money from you if ur download that much and there new packages are to get rid of high level downloaders or to get them to pay more.
other user arent goto cover your costs anymore.

NDO`s new prices mean that I am getting twice the download speed for £5 a week less . Not much misleading about that

NDO-Pricing

The misleading aspect as far as I am concerned, is being told to wait for a new bundle of competetive tariffs, only too find when announced ,more of the same.

I am not concerned with NDO`s profitability,or where there support is located,on-shore or off-shore is of no concern to me,only value for money :)

Because the new packages don't suit you, that doesn't make them misleading.

Some people look at things other than simply cost (such as reliability, good support, the ability to get things fixed reasonably quickly when they go wrong etc.) For some, it's not just about how much it costs. All things considered and all that.

Can't please everyone all of the time.... However hard you try :)

I don't think the prices are misleading, but they are expensive.

I am on unlimited 512k at £25/month (give or take a penny). I looked at other prices and NDO looked expensive, but I was told to wait for the new pricing to be announced.

With the new pricing I am charged.........£25.

I'm off to Eclipse, either for 512k @ £18 or 1024k @ £24 - still cheaper than NDO's 512 and still with an ISP with a good reputation.

NDO do provide an excellent service, but then for the prices they charge it's just as well!
