Need help diagnosing B818-263 losing signal on EE

Thanks for the advice, I've turned off all bands apart from number 1, done two speed tests and achieved 79Mb and 45Mb.

Tower stats are this - how does that look?
Is that the cell you want it to connect to?

Ideally you will want your RSRP to be >= -80, so -96 isn't great. A good antenna would fix that.

I think first things first would be to:
- confirm to yourself you are indeed now connecting to the local mast, and
- (hopefully) confirm you no longer have disruption to service.

When you get those nailed down, then look at improving the signal via a directional antenna. Hopefully you'll also then be able to switch the other bands back on to get full aggregation.

Hi, thanks for this. I think that is the mast I want as it gets a good speed. Unfortunately I'm still getting drop-outs with just Band 1. I spoke to EE again today, a new SIM card shold be arriving tomorrow as they said it's possible it's causing the problem (not sure how true this is but it's free and easy to try).

If that doesn't work out then think I'll take them up on the offer of installing an antenna for £100, seems a good deal really considering the antenna, brackets etc.

Update - no luck with the new SIM card. Plan on returning the 5G router, spoke to EE again and they will only fit the antenna if you have an EE router! So looks like I'll just need to do it myself and keep the B818. Any antenna recommendations? Thanks
