Edit: If only Lebara had visual voicemail, I expect they'd attract more folk like myself that want all the features lol.
I'm supprised they don't. They share the same voicemail service as Vodafone and Talkmobile. Vodafone support it as standard. Might be something to do with APNs.

I suspect it's a case of Vodafone restricting it for their premium/payM plans, it seems to be the same with EE and O2, you have to go direct and pay monthly for all the features.
Oh, EE don't allow 3-way-calling anymore from what I've heard, they say it's not available?

Edit: I'm yet to establish if 3-way works on Vodafone Basics, they tell me conference calling is restricted but thats it lol, pretty useless, they can't roam supposedly anyway so screw basics, I'm settling with iOS 17's visual voice and the perhaps occasional requirement to call voicemail lol.

It works on vodafone pay as you go and VOXI. I think it's an APN thing. Idk about the thing with EE, I'll research. If someone else's backs you up I'll benefit of the doubt it and believe you 😉

It’s an option on the CRM which is turned off by default, you can call up and get it enabled, not much of an issue for most people but that is an option

I thought this used to be the case, but I know people on EE now and am told managers essentially say no you can't have it due to "fraud".
I hope I'm wrong, I just dunno anybody with a recent contract that's been able to get it enabled.

Can someone please explain to me what the B20 restriction on EE/Lyca/RWG really means and if this will make any difference for a Hauewi CarFi?

I know business customers have been allowed access on Excalibur (EE CRM), I wouldn’t see how they could say it’s fraud if that has been said though I would raise a complaint

"3-way-calling-capability" is what it was on Excalibur if i remember correctly?
At Vodafone it's just "3 way calling" on the CRM Halo lol

My suspicion is you can only get it on Business now unless you're personally friends with a manager (EE) lol.

Our of sheer intrest, what is Three and O2's CRM named? Seems like they have rather ominous names 🤣

It means that SIM cards that do not have access to Band 20 will be missing access to some coverage that other SIMs using the EE network do have. So at a very basic level it effectively means that there will be "not spots" where Band 20 is the main or only local coverage, or potential congestion where Band 20 is deployed in conjunction with other bands that are frequently busy or congested.

I had a Chinese phone a few years back that didn't support Band 20, and I don't recall any significant impacts, but it's hard to know what you are missing if you can't easily compare, and of course your local situation could be different and coverage and frequency deployment is continuously being changed and optimised.

For the sake of a few months and a few quid, it's probably worth trying with a non band 20 SIM and see how you go and see if it's good enough.

Wish I knew lol
I know Voda had a system called Siebel and Halo essentially worked over the top of that, can do more with Siebel than Halo.
They haven't trained advisers how to use Siebel for years though which is why Vodafone seems to have become a "stick to the script" company.

I don't think Vodafone do visual voicemail on Android, it's an iPhone-only feature. It's not available on my Voxi SIM, at least. It's a shame, it'd be a really useful thing, if only to delete the telemarketer and spam voicemails without having to waste time calling the voicemail number, listening to them for a few seconds and hitting delete.
