NETWORK SPEC SPREADSHEET.

Unlike the other MNO's, EE is happy to have a bunch of clown MVNO's do their worst on the UK public.
Essentially.

O2 do the worst on the UK public themselves, at least EE have the manners to let others do it for them

As has been said to me in the past
"the worst bit about using O2 is asking for someone's hotspot when it stops working"

I got the deal offered on MSE just fine Mobyle, I went for the £1.49 deal then after 3 months it's my magic £5 figure.

Can't complain at that for 10GB. :)

I'm not interested in the calls though, just the data. 😊
Slightly annoyed my SIM card hasn't arrived still after ordering it on Thursday - had other mail (including 2 Lebara SIMs and a Three SIM from eBay). Need it by Wednesday latest or I'm out the country for 3 weeks...

Oh that's a bit slow tre3, hope it arrives in time for you, hopefully mine will be here this week sometime.

No rush for me though as I won't be activating it until the 1st of September due to OCD reasons. 😊

For this deal plan there is only 3GB EU roaming. I hope the ping is lower than Spusu.

Good news is it arrived today, had a bit of trouble getting a PAC from Lebara (had to do web chat, 65075 didn't work?) but all sorted and submitted. Here's hoping it all goes well tomorrow!

I'll save speed tests for the end of the month but it took around 15 mins to start properly working but it seems all good now with 5G working too (seems I now get EE 5G in my house which is new!)

Seems my account with them still has my old SIM from over a year ago in it which was a surprise and confused me at first why I saw a different number from what was on the SIM

There's also a £1.49 deal for 3 months then £4.99 for 10GB if that interests you Mobyle, great prices for EE I must say. :)
I hadn't clocked some of these plans - if I wasn't doing the Lebara £1.25 one I'd be highly tempted by some of these as £5.49 for 15GB fits my use perfectly. It is just a shame about the lack of VoLTE/Wifi Calling... difficult to decide if I would want to cope without that medium term...

Disappointingly it does seem their plans no longer include international minutes as they used to, not a deal breaker for me but it does have the occasional use...

Good stuff tre3, yes well I'm just wanting the data, so no need for WiFi calling or VoLTE for that. 😊

I got my new Talk Home 10 GB £1.49 sim today and the ping is 30-50 ms, faster than Spusu. There is an oddity though, I seem to have 2 10GB plans and a 3GB Roaming addon.

I hope the second 10GB is a starter bonus and not another glitch that I will have to STAC away like the first sim.

Still waiting on mine, maybe tomorrow.:)

Port all done successfully to Talk Home - my Lebara cut off at about 3pm so around 2 hours of down time.

I think it's been mentioned before but the form on Talk Home's website is weird, the port date actually seems to mean the "start" not the "completion" so I had it put as yesterday.

Also got my 1GB free data for porting so hurrah for that?

Doesn't look great, hopefully it's a site glitch not the whole plan... but mine's not doing that.

It's weird how the roaming is presented, I wonder when I go away if it'll actually deduct from both roaming and the general allowance or not.

I can confirm that the roaming data is separate from the UK data. Pretty sure I made a post about that before.

Currently in Spain with iD Mobile. I appear to be able to connect to all four networks here. And Mobistar offers great 5G speeds.

Oups sorry - wrong thread 😅😇
Oh all 4? even VF ES? I was to believe three had dropped them as a roaming partner as I couldn't connect in 2023 whereas it worked in 2022.

Well that took long enough, ordered last Saturday and just received it today.
So if anyone else orders a Talkhome SIM, don't give up hope. :giggle:
(It was 1st class too)
