NETWORK SPEC SPREADSHEET.

Thanks, mate!
Looks like mozillion offers a pretty cheap (£12) and decent 25GB of roaming data 100GB plan...
Any experience with that provider?
They're new.... I haven't personally had a SIM from them altogether it's on my books to do at some point money permitting.

SMARTY just make stuff up at this point and refuse to acknowledge actual issues.

They still have not fixed or officially acknowledged the promotional data roaming issue and I have been banging on about it for months. Alas I do not use them because of it so can't even post in their own community forums!
Is this them not giving you the correct promotional data allowance when abroad?

Yes exactly.

You use promotional data after your standard allowance each month meaning if you go abroad later in your plan month, EU roaming won't work.

There's only one page on their site where this is refered to and it still isn't properly explained.

That is quite worrying to hear.

Hello everybody,

Just found another EE MVNO, which is ESIM only and looks like having all EE goodies & experience.
It's even possible to test them free for a week.

Enjoy!

I tried the Slice free trial... and after Googling the number prefix it was given, I see why @Pixelpetal said what they did. Turns out they're a Lyca company (that was posted on these forums a while back, but I didn't know), and the 07404 prefix I was given is a Lyca block. Good thing I paid with a virtual card that was frozen immediately after verification (just wanted to be sure I didn't accidentally get charged after it, also I usually do that for "free/cheap trials" anyways, but since finding out they're a Lyca company, probably for the best lmao).

In terms of actual specs I noticed in a very limited trial while out getting food - seems to be using EE's core (EE shows on Speedtest, and has an EE IP, maybe just using their profile on my Samsung S24U, carrier name says SLICE), VoLTE indicator (couldn't test quality, but calling my main number on the same phone showed an HD icon), no Wi-Fi/Backup Calling, Band 20 access unknown (EE doesn't have much B20 in my area, only on a select few sites) and speeds seem to be uncapped (I saw about 120Mbit, which is pretty good for EE in my area on 4G) - a lot of the fake 5G icon, but I think that's just an EE thing in my area.

So tested the Unlimited plan - UNL Everything for £5 for 3 months.
I match what @baa_tho says. Getting 200 MBPS down at home which is about right.

Will continue testing etc - Suspect that they wont use the Lyca core and payment systems etc so could be safe in that regard.

Stuck a fiver in a pot with burner card on Monzo if anything dodgy happens

Will update soon...

Whoops... It's Lyca in disguise...
I also can't find any T and Cs for their service?

"For our launch we've kept things super simple which means there are added extras which we've had to take off the table for now. One of those is going further afield than the EU. At the moment international roaming, talk & text isn't available on the Slice network but we're hoping to bring it to you soon."

so Slice does not really seem usable if you wanna be reachable outside of the UK or EU.

not sure if you didn't understand my post or if I didn't understand yours 😂
I was referring to roaming outside of the EU. :)
