i have had a quick look on thier website but could not find out what the length of the contracts are?

Email them and ask for application for an account. Account is a rolling month by month basis - no minimum contract.

I applied today for the 10:1 contention 4hr cutoff account :) Will update all on progress.

These packages are not new - although ISPr commented on them recently.

I saw the packages as they are now, over 2 months ago.

mmm shower of sh!te :) (IMHO)

found 2 prices for the 128k unmetered - one was £30 and the other £35 (+VAT)

then after modifying there incorrect link to their "Acceptable Usage T&C's" i found this

Unmetered service

Quik Internet reserve the right to discontinue service to any user of the unmetered service if the user;

Exceeds 70 hours of usage in any one month

!!!! 70 hours!!!! in a month ROFLMAO

OK quote from Quik...
This refers to the fact that on the current contention ratio and that there are only 24 hrs in any given day the user will be able to use this amount of hours on average - thus being some users will use it less and some users use it more, we are going to change the wording on the poilcy there to make it read easier. Rest assured unless you are clocking up a good 2-300+ hours a month you should be fine.

no good for me then a would be using for at least 8 hours in a 24 hour period.

yes i was with then..no good connection probs and well the max hours is almost nothing.

i would stay with your currnet isp and not move as i clocked these hours up pretty 'quik'

so really is it worth it.......not in my mined <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

yep - oh and dont forget the £20 to BT for surftime! Its called the super showroom acccount.

It is a little expensive me thinks! I am simply on the standard 64K anytime account with Demon - funds wont stretch to the SS account.

i am sick and tired of these jippos

solid server with 300 kb + upload speed and im going from 14k to 6k wtf is this all about

BECAREFULL OF THESE PEOPLE
