New BT customer (MEGA Bufferbloat on Upload)

I've had a nightmare moving into my new house and finally got my internet installed from BT (FTTC) and I'm seeing ridiculous amounts of bufferbloat on upload speeds and next to none on the upload speed. I have one PC connected via LAN

What's the issue?

Theres nothing wrong with that speed test, is it just the other one that's making you think you have a problem and gone to seek one that shows you have a problem until you was happy you found something which was wrong?

Bizarre response. If you don't understand the problem then please do not seek to advise.

If someone with a little expertise could help I would really appreciate it.

Edit: I live-stream so I believe I need low level latency on my uploads and getting constant reading of over 600ms on my uploads isn't good enough and I was wondering how I rectify this

The TBB test we use can score bufferbloat, what do you get with that?

Hey Mark just ran that test and getting much better results: Low 63ms High 84ms

So what could be causing the dslreports to show my upload consistently above 400ms?

Thanks for your help Mark!

As others have already said, don't pay too much attention to the results in the first speedtest. That speedtest has used non-UK servers to test your speeds, so not much of surprise its showing latency of 600ms. Use the TBB tester or speedtest.net tests (using UK servers obviously) to get a better idea. But from your speedtest.net result, your speed/latency looks fine. You may be worrying unnecessarily ....

I just would always get great results from dslreports until I recently moved house and switched ISP so I always trusted them.

But the ISPreview is coming back as all fine so that makes me happy enough to continue on!

Thank you all so much for your help.
