So at the moment I have gathered that the cheapest fibre package that can be had in the UK is BT Infinity 1 if you are a new BT Customer.
Here is the maths.
BT Website
You select the Starter TV package. This allows you to BT Infinity 1 down to £10 per month.
The line rental can be put down to £17.15 by paying a one off cost of £205.08.
The activation charge is £59 and the Home Delivery Hub is £7.95.
The grand total is £392.03
There is a £150 cash gift card. Minus that and it is 242.03.
Quidco Website
By putting this though the Quidco website there is £150 cashback on offer.
The Grand Total
£242.03 - £150 = £92.03
£7.67 per month for 52mb BT infinity 1 with line rental, uk weekend calls, BT starter TV, BT Sport TV pack and AMC channel.
The only problem is what happens when you aren't a new customer
I was lucky enough to speak to a BT customer adviser who sounded like he was smoking a huge amount of illegal drugs.
He told to me that all I needed to do is let my account expire and close, wait a couple months and then return to buy a BT service. I was told I would then be counted as a new customer.
There was no MAC code transfers needed to be counted as a new customer.
So what do I intend to do while in Limbo period?
I personally like the look at Vodaphone & GiffGaff rolling contracts.
Vodaphone does 20gb of 4G data a month for £37 and GiffGaff does unlimited 4G data a month for £20 (however with traffic policy after 6gb usage).
I have been in the mood to buy a new phone for a while since my phone is a old 2010 Samsung Apollo. The cost of this would be £50 to £80. I am looking at getting a Vodaphone Smart Prime 6 or a Motorolla Moto E.
Suggestions of 4G alternative phones would be greatly appreciated.
The Question is can I pull this off?
Would I be able to be a new BT customer again or was that guy really off his head?
is £20 on GiffGaff or £37 for 20GB Vodaphone rolling Sim contract a good place for limbo mode?
I leave it for you experienced lot to decide.
And yes I am a tight spender.
