new PC

Need more info.

Are you having a whole new system, or just a motherboard?

What parts are you planning to keep, and if any, what are they?

Need to know what processor its for, and if your keeping your graphics card what it is (agp, PCI express etc).

And do you have any special needs for it, like raid, or built in sound, or lots of PCI ports?

Oh dear the link has been reset

Ok, well if you post what sort of board you want (processor type - AGP or PCIe graphics and any other needs) Im sure you will get a lot of recommendations.

Personally I love Abit's AW9D board, which you can probably find listed on Overclockers.co.uk . The only issue I'd take with your spec is that of the ram - "4GB DDR2 PC-5400 667 MHZ". To get the most out of that CPU you really need PC-8000.

Likewise it's not clear how many sticks of memory are being used to make that 4GB? 4 x 1GB or 2 x 2GB. This is important for two reasons:

1) Having just two sticks instead of four is usually more stable and allows you to set the T1 command rate, which gives a good memory performance boost.

2) Unless you're a little nuts and want to use the 64Bit version of Microsoft's WinXP or Vista operating systems, then the 32Bit versions will not allow you to take full advantage of the 4GB anyway. For technical reasons you may only be able to use 2.7 to 3.7GB, depending on settings and the mobo used.
