New Three 5G Hub (NR5103E)

Noticed this morning Three have changed all ZTE 5G Hubs to this new ZYXEL (NR5103E). I believe the only difference is the newer hub can connect to 64 devices, compared to the previous 32. A faster theoretical download speed and a new mobile app for IOS or Android to manage the Hub.

Interesting antenna connections on the non 'E' version.
2.5Gb Ethernet connections too.

Gotta love this price.....

I'm waiting for the £120 on CEX :giggle:

The £24 a month rolling seems like a great deal if you get the router to?

Also has anyone ordered 3 broadband to a different address? mine says 4g but I get full 5g at my house. im just outside the indoor map :(

Yes. I used CF24 4AN to progress. Then once at the pick your package screen I copied and pasted the url in to a new browser window. It muttered something about no postcode provided but it worked and was delivered the next day.

Very happy with my ‘not available in my area’ 110/30mbps 5g internet☺️

amazing, I will do it tomorrow.. Does it ask for a delivery address then?

It asked for a billing address which needed to match the bank card details. From memory it didn’t explicitly ask for a delivery address though.

My concern was that it might get delivered to a random address in Cardiff, but copy and pasting the link in to a new browser window broke that link and any memory of that postcode.

What's especially interesting is the four external antenna connectors, each covering 700MHz-4200MHz -- which suggests they're all 4G/5G 4x4 MIMO.

And it has a USB3 port for file sharing, which means no NAS needed.

Sounds perfect -- what's the snag? Apart from the price -- ouch! And the Three one doesn't seem to have the external TS9 connectors... :-(

Oh poo, the other thread says the external connectors are 5G only... :-(

Hi everyone,
I have the old Huawei CPE Pro 2 which has never given me any problems as I need 4g and 5g moving around the UK and was wondering if this new router is worth the upgrade.

Could not find any video or blog comparison.

Thanks, it worked :)

This suggests the Three version does work with an external 4x4 antenna...

Seems EE has had this router for a while now.

EE

I thought it was new, but apparently not.

I've taken the plunge and ordered one on a 1 month contract. I'll cancel at the end of the month n see if I can keep it. Not too fussed if I cant, arent gonna complain about a month of 5G broadband for £24 lol

You will have the three heavies at your door in no time if you try to run away after your month's up Bubbles. 😁

(Wonder how much they'll want for it)

Oh well, if they want it back they can have it lol

Damn, just received the ZTE today as part of a new package. Is it worth sending back the ZTE for this new one? Any benefits?
