Not all it seems.

Today out of the blue I received a CD from Clara net, and I was initially attracted to one of the three packages included on the disk.

The one in question is the 'One for all' account which allows internet calls at 1p a minute at any time day or night for a monthly fee of £6.99.

It wasn't until I did some sums that I realised that this deal is not as good as I first thought, for instance if you use the internet connection for two hours a day thats £1.20 times 30 equals £36.00 plus the £6.99 fee giving £42.99 a month.

To compare with the typical Friaco anytime type account at £14.95 a month the break even point is 13.26 hours a month or about 27 minutes a day, so if you normally exceed that forget about the penny a minute jobs.

Regards 70cm guy.
