Hugh Paterson? Who?

I sent a letter to Hugh Patterson at the address on the Biscit website. It was to tell them that I wanted nothing to do with their miserable 'ISP' and that I regard any contract for their services as null and void.

I got the letter back today marked 'sender has gone away'.

Dealing with Biscit is like dealing with some shady market trader, here one day, gone the next. I only wrote after blitzing the company with e-mails telling them I did not want their 'service' (I use the word 'service' very loosely indeed when it comes to Biscit). I got read receipts for my e-mails but no replies. A second e-mailing campaign got one reply which promised that my account would be cancelled. I've recently had an e-mail from Biscit apologising for the delay of 'a few days' in responding (it was actually several weeks) and promising me that they will provide me with my broadband service once Netservices relinquish my line.

I had since signed up with 'Ezeedsl'. Whilst this blocked Biscit's attempts to seize my line, Ezeedsl don't appear to communicate with their customers either. I am paying for their 2MB service but still getting 1MB two weeks on (long after BT have had a chance to upgrade whatever at the exchange). Ezeedsl either don't reply to messages or send you replies which aren't in the slightest bit helpful or relevant.

I really want to get this trash off my line and just pay the extra for a proper ISP like BT instead of paying what probably amounts to a teenager sat at a PC in India pret6ending to be some kind of business. I'm stuck in a year-long contract. Still, if Ezeedsl don't give me the 2MB service my contract says they should (assuming BT are capable of delivering this as I'm pretty sure they can as I live practically on top of an exchange), I will regard the contract as void and ditch this nasty little ISP.

I also signed up with EzeeDSL and have experienced the same results as yourself when trying to get an answer or information from them. I have raised tickets and sent emails and have either not received a response or as you say send a reply which is not helpful or relevant!

I've raised a complaint with OFCOM regarding the lack of customer service with EzeeDSL, probably won't do any good but you never know.

if you wish us to forward complaints then you need to fill in the complaints section here Mark.J does forward some if the member says they wish them to be sent on might just get you some answers.

FYI - We only forward Tiscali complaints, though I occasionally try to help individuals, but it would be false to promise this in a wider sense as I simply don’t have the time.

I had a reply from ezeedsl today. Two in fact. One didn't seem to make any sense and it was as if it was meant for someone else. The second (from the same name at the parent company) told me that they will be upgrading ex V21 customers to 2MB 'over the next 3 weeks'. I had been told by one of the idiots in their call centre who can barely speak English that it would be 10 - 14 days. I wonder if I e-mail them or phone them again, I'll get a third version.

They didn't mention anywhere that they would keep me waiting for over a month to get the service for which I have paid. They also didn't mention that when they promised you'd be reconnected to broadband (having lost V21 service) within the hour if you sign up to ezeedsl, one of their hours is the equivalent of everyone else's 3 days.

I feel that this nasty little company has got my money on the back of false promises. I wonder if this puts them in breach of contract as I really don't want to be stuck with such trash for a year.

I have followed Gillyb's lead and also lodged a complaint with OFCOM. However, OFCOM's statements on what they don't do seem to stand out more than what they do actually do. So I doubt anything at all will happen and I'll be stuffed like so many other unsuspecting consumers because of this country's inadequate legislation on such matters. Businesses like Ezeedsl really should be closed down.

Biscit or v21, sent so many letters to cancel no response. no service at all. but money still comes out. monitor your monthly statements. Those ********* have yet again taken another payment out and more than usual.

I have sent letters, e-mails and support ticket to V21/Biscit and never once have i had a\reply.... Is that what 'Customer Centric, means?
As for SleezeeDSL I have a couple of friends who are in the same boat and SleezeeDSL appear to model themselves on Biscit.

I have now signed up for BT option 3.

I think it's about time Trading Standards investigated this nasty little business and closed it down. It would also be good to see the police investigating Mr Patterson to see if there is a case of fraud for him to answer to.

Yes, EzeeDSL are just as bad as BISCIT when it comes to communication.

We ex V21'er's who were conned into signing up with SleezeeDSL haven't had any official communications for days and days. Emails to support and tickets raised via the portal are met with total silence. Dunno where to turn to next!

All i can say at present is as Netservices recomended you to ezeedsl is for you to phone netservices and ask the what the hell is going on they should be liable for selling you the s***.
Good luck and let us know how you get on:confused:
