I sent a letter to Hugh Patterson at the address on the Biscit website. It was to tell them that I wanted nothing to do with their miserable 'ISP' and that I regard any contract for their services as null and void.
I got the letter back today marked 'sender has gone away'.
Dealing with Biscit is like dealing with some shady market trader, here one day, gone the next. I only wrote after blitzing the company with e-mails telling them I did not want their 'service' (I use the word 'service' very loosely indeed when it comes to Biscit). I got read receipts for my e-mails but no replies. A second e-mailing campaign got one reply which promised that my account would be cancelled. I've recently had an e-mail from Biscit apologising for the delay of 'a few days' in responding (it was actually several weeks) and promising me that they will provide me with my broadband service once Netservices relinquish my line.
I had since signed up with 'Ezeedsl'. Whilst this blocked Biscit's attempts to seize my line, Ezeedsl don't appear to communicate with their customers either. I am paying for their 2MB service but still getting 1MB two weeks on (long after BT have had a chance to upgrade whatever at the exchange). Ezeedsl either don't reply to messages or send you replies which aren't in the slightest bit helpful or relevant.
I really want to get this trash off my line and just pay the extra for a proper ISP like BT instead of paying what probably amounts to a teenager sat at a PC in India pret6ending to be some kind of business. I'm stuck in a year-long contract. Still, if Ezeedsl don't give me the 2MB service my contract says they should (assuming BT are capable of delivering this as I'm pretty sure they can as I live practically on top of an exchange), I will regard the contract as void and ditch this nasty little ISP.
