Notice to cancel

Well it seems that MetroNet customer services dont even know their own cancellation email address - had to search thru email bills to find it after being given the wrong address !
Still no reply from my cancel request to MetroNet - mind you thats not unusual because the support email never reply either or at least the one @ metro800.co.uk the one @ metronet.co.uk always reply telling me to use the 800 one lol

Judging by this forum Metro has a chequered history - anyone got views on the following email?

High Speed ADSL service now from just £10 a month

As you know PAYGoDSL is now a live service and this email is to announce some further exciting changes and reductions in prices that will apply to both existing and new PAYGoDSL customers.

The first thing we have done is to simplify the PAYGoDSL model in a way that better highlights the fundamental differences between PAYGoDSL and standard flat rate Broadband packages and Providers.

Allied to this we have used the reduction in charges levied to us by BT, announced last week, to further extend the value of PAYGoDSL by lowering the charges across the board of all PAYGoDSL packages.

As you know on PAYGoDSL there is no one, set monthly fee for service and we bill you instead on usage. We have now halved the cost of the first usage band to just 5p per MB from 10P per MB on all packages. On a PAYGo500 account, for example, this equates to a starting cost of just £10 a month, down from £15 a month.

We have taken this even further by lowering the maximum charge you would pay too. On a PAYGo500 account because of our unique Cost Cap system the most you would pay now is just £23.99 a month, down from £25.99 a month.

What's more you would now need to undertake an even greater volume of uploads and downloads to end up paying the maximum monthly charge which means potentially even better savings for most people, month after month. For instance, if you had a PAYGo500 account and your average daily usage was 100MB your monthly cost would be just £17.

You can now use our exclusive online calculator (http://metronet.co.uk/adsl/adsl-calc) to work out for yourself how little you could be paying for Broadband.

The full extent of the changes are now available on our website and remember that while some Broadband providers may try and sway you with short term attractions such as free activation, on PAYGoDSL you have the benefit of making on-going savings on your Broadband bill.

Finally, thanks to all of you who have expressed an interest in the service and those who have already subscribed to PAYGoDSL. We are sure the changes we are announcing will be welcomed by all and we are equally sure you will be hard pressed to find a better value Broadband service in the UK!

Many thanks for your continued support of PAYGoDSL.

Kind regards
