Hi All -
I'm writing from the States (Denver, Colorado) and have been exploring this site for NTL info. My company will be transfering me to the Harrogate area early next year. I'm using broadband now and would like to continue to do so. I have my own equipment which consists of a Toshiba PCX1100U cable modem (DOSCIS 1.1 compatible). This model has an RF connector input (using RG59 or RG6 coax cabling). The output goes to my Linksys 4 port router/firewall for distribution to my 4 PCs. My question is "What is the cable modem type that is used by NTL and is my Toshiba compatible with it?" I saw some reference to fibre optic but it wasn't clear if it was the outside interface or the inside interface to the PC. Thanks all for any responses and for reading my long post.
